It is my honour to be elected as Chairman of the Chartered Management Institute (Hong Kong Branch) for the term 2008-2009 and to have an opportunity to serve both the Institute and its local members.

With the staunch commitment of a capable team on the Council and support from fellow members, I vouch to take CMIHK to the next higher level through a solid programme of work:

• Enriching the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes and newsletters on management topics of interest to members
• Expanding the local networks
• Organising study visits for management exchanges and social activities for worthy good causes
• Relationship building to promote the work of the Branch
• Establishing a web-based platform to facilitate membership management, dissemination of information and exchange of views
