Dear Members and Friends of CMI-HK,

Inspiring Leaders, our branch motto, reflects the need of modern day leadership and management to inspire developments and embrace change amid global challenges.

With the support of our advisers, past and present members of the Executive Council, members and friends, we have celebrated CMI-HK’s 10^th Anniversary in style last year.

Management is both an art and a science, and it requires skill, knowledge, intuition and inspiration. Qualifications and experience aside, continuous professional development, networking and exchange play vital roles to widen managers’ horizon and achieve work effectiveness. Through CPD seminars, study visits, the Inspiring Leaders Series of Interviews, Friends of CMI-HK, increased partnership with professional bodies and alumni groups, CMI-HK encourages members to expand reach and share management experience and good practices across disciplines. Our newsletter, INSPIRING LEADERS, has also been given a facelift with enriched management contents.

It is my privilege to serve as Chairman of the Executive Council for the new term 2010-2011. Let’s work together to take CMI-HK to a higher level of standing and recognition. I look forward to receiving your continued support and greeting you in our activities.
