Dear members and friends of the CMI-HK,

2008 has proven to be a turbulent year.  Stepping into 2009 and beyond, there will be new challenges and opportunities.   With the staunch commitment of the Executive Council and the Secretariat, we have attained the following:

1. Strengthened advisory through appointment of the Hon. Leung Chun-ying, GBS JP and Prof. Stephen YL Cheung, JP as our new Hon. Advisers, alongside existing Advisers Mr John Chan, GBS JP CCMI and Brigadier Christopher Hammerbeck, CB CBE
2. Launched our re-styled newsletter “Inspiring Leaders” with enriched contents to foster exchange of management knowledge across different sectors;
3. Provided more quality CPD seminars and networking activities to our members through own organisation and partnership with other professional bodies, associations, universities and alumni groups; and
4. Launched a “Friends of the CMI-HK Club” - a new local branch initiative which aims to promote CMI in Hong Kong and expand network with corporate executives, business managers, professionals and students of management studies who are not yet members of the CMI. As we celebrate the 10^th Anniversary this year, let’s work together to take CMI-HK to a higher level of standing and recognition. The 10^th Anniversary Dinner is on Thursday, 3 December 2009 and there is also sponsorship opportunity (please download Form here for registration).
